The Energy Centers of the Body:

The System of Chakras

The Sanskrit word “chakra,” which means “disc,” “wheel,” or “circle,” is the root of the word. India’s esoteric and spiritual traditions heavily emphasize the seven-chakra human body system. Vedas, Upanishads, and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras are a few of the ancient texts that use the term “wheels of life” to describe these spinning energy hubs.

Each of them is a component of the seven-body system. The seven bodies are physical, etheric, astral, mental, causal, Buddha, and Nirvanic. Our chakras are located in the etheric body. Before disease manifests in the physical body, there is energy distortion in the etheric body. Human well-being and spiritual advancement may be better understood if one understands the interplay between the seven-body system and the chakra system.

The spinning energy wheels of the spine are known as chakras, which are energetic vortices. Our etheric bodies include energy turbines that are constantly churning. Energy is received, processed, and then transformed by these organizational units or energy centers. Our etheric body’s energy conduits meet at the chakras (nadis). Our physical, emotional, and mental health are all affected when a chakra is blocked. A chakra imbalance happens when either too much or too little energy simultaneously flows through the chakra. The goal is to avoid the energy pendulum’s extremes by staying in the middle of the path.

Any imbalance in one of the chakras affects the system’s overall state, which is why the seven chakras are interconnected. In particular, the lower three chakras obstruct energy flow up to the higher chakras when they get clogged. All chakras should be treated at the same time in most cases. All aspects of our lives are intertwined if we understand each chakra and how they work together as a system.

Roles of Chakras

Chakras are linked to specific energies, each having to be correctly decoded and balanced. It is well known that persons with a deficient or excessive pattern of chakra activity have physical, emotional, and mental qualities that may be recognized in us. The chakras get clogged and sluggish when coping methods are used excessively. The chakras remain empty and useless when coping skills are lacking. Each chakra also contains a “devil,” or negative energy, that may be linked.

  1. Muladhara (Root) Chakra (Muladhara) is associated with physical well-being at the base of your spine. “Devil” or negative energy is dread that must be converted into faith.
  2. Emotional and sex-related chakras (Swadhistana) may be found in the lower abdomen. There is a “demon” in the form of guilt that must be overcome to get over it.
  3. A key focus of the Solar Plexus (Manipura) is on power and control and the ego. Managing the “demon” of the third chakra is a matter of transforming shame energy into respect and self-respecting energy.
  4. Love, pure joy, and balance are found in the heart chakra (Anahata), the connecting point between the two other chakras. The mind can only be found in the lower three chakras. Sadness is the “devil’s” energy and must be transformed into joyful energy if it is to be released.
  5. Vishuddha, or the Throat Chakra, influences the flow of ideas. As a matter of principle, it is entitled to the right to express itself and to be heard (both speaking and listening to others). Falsehoods are the “devil’s energy” and must be converted into truth energy.
  6. Between the brows is where the Third Eye (Ajna) is located. Regarding archetypal language, it has to do with our ability to perceive. Intuition and imagination are at the heart of its difficulties. The sixth chakra’s “demon” is an illusion. The opposite of fantasy is reality.
  7. Crown chakra (Sahasrara) is a mental state rather than a physical location. It focuses on the concepts of awareness and unity. Possibly located in the brain’s cortex. As long as we are attached to this “devil” energy, we cannot stay in this state of consciousness. The next step is to surrender and let go.
